Happy Friday! I’m sharing today on the blog a few of my watercolor cupcake cards that I’ve been working on for Mother’s Day/May birthday cards (4 of my favorite moms/aunts have birthdays in May!). It’s a little hard to see in the pictures, but what really makes them sparkle is the final touches of glitter and embossing powers that I always add at the end. You can also see a glimpse of my newish Address stamp in the photo above (that says Shaool), which I embossed with baby blue power on the envelope flap.
Last year, I sent out for Mother’s Day my homemade watercolor dress cards and they were a big hit—also, one of my favorite projects of all time. I’m including in these watercolor cupcake cards a school picture of our little 2 year old Judah: the way he is scrunching he shoulders with his sweet little smile is just delicious.
And, with Mother’s Day just around the corner, I am finally sharing that…we are expecting baby #2 in mid-October!! Judah has been asking constantly when the baby will be here to play with and “feeding” the baby bites of his food and sips of his morning green juice, of course. The past few months have been a little bumpy with nausea, but that phase seems to be subsiding so that more projects will be ongoing and up on the blog soon!
Wishing you an extra long and wildly relaxing week’s end.
