Join Me at the Muse for Valentine’s Banners

I spent this weekend picking up gorgeous Valentine’s papers, fabrics, ribbons, buttons, glitter, stickers, and ephemera for my upcoming Valentine’s Banner Class at the Muse in downtown Frederick on February 12, 2014.    If you haven’t been to the Muse, Whitney, who owns the store, has exquisite taste and goes out of her way to only sell American Made products.  She also does an amazing job highlighting the area’s most inspiring and talented local artists.

When Whitney and I first met, we discovered that we both listen to the same podcasts, read the same books, and have an inexplicable obsession with all things crafty.  She has a fabulous line-up of teachers for her spring classes, and I cannot wait to lead a paper-crafting workshop in February to celebrate my favorite holiday–Valentine’s–with the Muse.   Here’s the prototype for the class on February 12th:

vdaybanner1valentineThere are a million combinations of all things pretty for this banner to celebrate LOVE in 2014.   And the best part for me is witnessing the exquisite variations that students create.

Here’s the little leprechaun that was assisting me with this year’s banner.  He will not be attending the class.

You can register for my Valentine’s Day Banner class at the Muse.  See you on the 12th!
